Christian Lacroix has apparently designed his last haute couture show, calling it quits after about 2 decades in the business. Fashionistas cried rivers of tears (as much as the mascara would allow, anyhow), as his sombre goodbye to the fashion industry strutted down the catwalk.
Lacroix launched bankruptcy proceedings in late May 2009, and it is rumoured the doors of Lacroix will close for good (or at least until some wealthy benefactor chips in) at the end of July. Edina of
Absolutely Fabulous, an ardent Lacroix fan, will surely be devastated.
