I'm such a sap in my old age. I don't care. My heart can be stone when I need it to be - for example when I meet a decent guy for the first time in ... decades. Convenient, right? No.
Jules Clancy is the author of Stonesoup - a Sydney-based blog about food and cooking which just yanked on my heart strings with its honest, earthy approach to cooking, it's fantastic pictures and the recipe book Clancy has recently had published. She is currently employed as a chocolate biscuit designer with Arnott's (oh my God - did you just see Oprah's OTT "is that a great job or what?" face right then?? I did!). She has science degrees in food and wine. They exist?! Stupid law degree. So impractical.
Jules has written a cookbook containing mumsy recipes we all know and love (caramel slice... drool), compiled in celebration of her mum who died suddenly of cancer 2 years ago. It's only $29.95 with free postage in Australia and New Zealand. What a shame it's Fathers Day and not Mothers Day this weekend!
