RIP Steve Jobs


Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure — these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

I don't think it's overly dramatic to say that today the world has lost one of its great visionaries and a true creative genius. Steve Jobs was a person who saw a world of possibilities - a world where all the creative outputs of humankind would be available to everyone - and he managed to distill this powerful concept into simple technological solutions. Steve Jobs has given the power of information and connectivity to the world - all in simplistically beautiful devices. Steve Jobs has left an indelible mark on all of our lives. RIP.
