My favourite French thing right now (apart from the many obvious things - champagne, Chanel, snails in butter, and the Aussie spins on all things French such as Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge and Montrachet in Paddington and so on) is the Tour de France. The stacks off the bikes - so impressive! The endurance, the egos, all that lycra, the rivalries and the scenery make a killer combination.
