I Don't Have A Penny But I'll Show You A Real Good Time

Speaking of shoes and little boots... Wouldn't you just love to live in this enchanted forest of a town? Föhren, a small town in the wooded Eifel hills of western Germany has been under siege recently by a shoe-obsessed fox - currently known as Imelda. That sounds far too witch-like, however. Let's call her Foxy Cleopatra, for her decadent tastes, extravagent lifestyle and promiscuity (hello! loads of little baby foxes were discovered amongst the piles of shoes - talk about the old fox who lived in her shoe).

Despite being a kleptomaniac , Rudolf Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, the local count who lives in Föhren Palace (for real!), has nothing but admiration for our foxy, expressing amazement that she had time to maintain her lifestyle, feed all those little mouths as well as finding time to amass an enviable shoe collection. Personally, I think the Count might like to pop out of the forest for a day or two, and observe that there are plenty of women like F. Cleopatra who have plenty of time for such activities (minus the stealing, naturally).

This paragraph is straight from fairytale land:
Count von Kesselstatt had the retrieved shoes laid out in the palace on Wednesday so that the townsfolk can come and collect them.

A count? Townsfolk? A palace? Too much!
